The Terrace of Vaasa Inner Harbor will be significantly renewed for summer 2020!
-Plank pizzas served as a beach speciality in the Vaasa city center area starting 1.6.
-The program for summer 2020 has been revealed, accompanied by star artists
-Adequate safety clearances for customers will be implemented in the new expansion area
-The terrace now operates locally and is entrepreneurially driven
-Vaasa Sport will be a significant partner in the summer of 2020 -> the entire staff and chef coming from the restaurants of Vaasa Ice Hall.
-In the opening week 1.6. – 7.6. On the terrace, e.g. OneViolin (Pekka Niemi) from Vaasa, known from the Talent Finland -tv-show, Hovimuusikko Ilkka, know from Radio Suomipop, and the duo Takamaa & Haavisto.
The terrace continues to be entrepreneurially driven by local forces
Inner Harbor Terrace has been given a new owner and is currently fully entrepreneurial. The owner of the entire share capital of the terrace is now Vaasa-based e.g. Nordic Live, the festival organization that organizes Vaasa Festival and Solar Sound Festival, whose main owner and chairman of the board is currently entrepreneur Tommi Mäki.Mäki has also been appointed CEO of Sisäsataman Terassi OY. Previously, Sisäsataman Terassi OY has been a partner in the restaurant company NoHo Partners.
New menu and cooperation with Vaasan Sport
The staff, restaurant manager and chefs of Sisäsatama Terrace will come through Vaasa Sport, also know as Vaasan Jäähallin Ravintolat OY, with the new collaboration. The cooperation helps both parties, because the seasons in action are located in different seasons. Mathias Niemi and Ramses Jakobsson, who are known from Vaasa Sport’s home matches, have started as Sisäsataman Terassi OY’s restaurant manager.
For each drink purchased from Sisäsatama Terrace, approximately 1 € is calculated to support Vaasa Sport. Support is important for the league club.
Expansion of space to existing customer locations
Sisäsatama Terassi has applied for an expansion space of approx. 220 m2, which will be furnished especially for weekends to create space for the terrace’s customer seats. The terrace currently has 300 seats. No more customer seats in the expansion area will be sought. Sisäsataman Terassi OY pays a weekly fee determined by the city for the entire summer. Plenty of plants will also be placed on the terrace for the summer of 2020.
Renewed menu
The terrace menu has been completely revamped. The only stone oven pizzas on the city’s beaches are now available, as well as the much-desired chicken wings. Inner Harbor Artesan Plank Pizzas available throughout the summer, offering five different flavors. All pizzas are made on site.
Fresh smoothies, salads and breads are also added to the list.

Inner Harbor Terrace is promising live gigs every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday throughout the summer. Each day has its own theme. Gigs are generally free, except on July 31st. Ida and Kalle’s gig. Tommi Helminen, a presenter of the Vaasa-based media person known from Radio NRJ, Radio Vaasa and Boom City radio, and Antti Helminen’s joint DJ duo, Boom City DJ, will start as a new DJ at Sisäsatama Terrace Terrace House. The atmosphere is maintained by the duo with fresh music, the best remixes and guaranteed hits all the way to the light mark.
